Description
A round placemat built from short wooden dowels set edge to edge — heat-safe enough to sit a warm dish on, and textured enough to hold its own even when the table underneath it is bare wood.
Made from recycled wood offcuts, small pieces reclaimed and pieced together rather than a single fresh-cut slab — genuinely a use for wood that would otherwise be scrap. Colour and grain vary dowel to dowel and mat to mat, which is exactly what a handmade, sustainably sourced placemat should look like.

Assembly and Installation
No assembly required. Product comes ready to use.
Care
Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately. Hand wash only — never put wood in the dishwasher, and do not soak it. Oil occasionally with food-safe mineral oil to keep the grain from drying out.
Hand made, so no two are identical — slight variation in colour and grain is part of the piece. We customise sizes on request.
